My Own Twilight star

Up at the dark sky in the middle of the night
Deep in my misery where no one thought me to be
Glancing up at the sky, the only friend that never betrayed me
Seeing the dark clouds cover the night
No star shining not even a glimpse

I used to be a happy soul that no one could miss
But suddenly shattered by the cruelty of the world
Talking to the sky, the only one who listened carefully
I spoke my words describing my broken heart
Away from the person I love

I never knew how cruel people are
As they say "every born generation is worst than the other."

"Why did I have to have such damned fate?"asking the sky
"Why was I always mistreated and ignored?"
"What is it with me that makes everybody hate me and betray me?"
"Was that because I was kind and because of it gullible?"

Deep in my thought I was,
When all of a sudden, out of the blue
Came one star, shinig brightly breaking the darkness in the clouds
I felt a warming feeling over my skin
I felt a soft voice of my mother talking to me

"My beautiful sweetheart."talking in my brain
"You are never alone. Soon you shall find the one that understands you."
"You did'nt search yet, go out and stay as bright as you can be."
"Do not lose your faith, make me proud and always keep smiling for me."
"No matter how the dark clouds try to block you from gaol."
"You can throught the clouds with a brilliant and beautiful light as you are."

Her voice faded from my mind, leaving me behind
Suddenly, the moon shone through the night, looking like a smile
With two stars  above the moon, it looked like the two stars were the eyes
And the moon was that smile my mother always told me about

I knew it was a message from God, I spread a smile over my face
I thanked God for everything God gave me
And to keep my moto "always look for the star in your heart"

I sat there under the tree with my mothers soul by my side
Admiring the view
